Greencroft Goshen hosts free lunch & learn for caregivers
Greencroft Goshen will host a free lunch & learn event for caregivers on Wednesday, April 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Greencroft Goshen Community Center, located at 1820 Greencroft Blvd., Goshen, IN 46526. The event will highlight Adult Day Services at Thelma A. Schrock Homestead and provide practical support and education for caregivers in the community.
During the first half, attendees will participate in an educational seminar titled, “Helping Caregivers Thrive: Recognizing Needs and Building Support.” The presentation focuses on understanding the challenges caregivers face and identifying tools and resources that help sustain both caregivers and their loved ones. The second half will include lunch followed by a guided tour of The Homestead, offering participants an opportunity to experience the setting and learn more about adult day services.
To further support caregivers, The Homestead will offer respite care for participants’ loved ones during the program, allowing caregivers to attend the seminar with peace of mind. Participants should plan to arrive at 10:30 a.m. for check-in at The Homestead, located at 1904 S. 15th Street, Goshen, IN 46526.
The event is free, but advance registration is required. To RSVP, please call Kerry Ann Sandsmark at (574) 537-4181 by April 22.
