Greencroft Goshen Healthcare
Sometimes as we age, things don’t work the way they used to. Fortunately, though, with a little therapeutic intervention, plus the latest equipment, we can often get back on track. That’s why rehabilitation therapy is such an important component in maintaining an independent, healthy lifestyle. Greencroft Goshen offers outpatient physical, occupational, and speech/language therapies for all ages.
And our therapists are amazing. Here is just one story:
We love hearing of rehab success stories like Faye Litwiller's, who excelled through her rehabilitation at Greencroft Goshen and was able to make a phenomenal recovery. With the help of her therapists, Kevin Eby, PTA and Colleen Swihart, OT, she is now thriving post rehab.
"I had an accident hiking in the Adirondacks and fractured my left leg and ankle. I came to Greencroft Goshen for 4 weeks and worked with OT and PT daily. During OT, I was taught techniques to use for preparation to return home. My last week at Greencroft, I got my strength back and gained the confidence that I could be home on my own…that’s the purpose of therapy! Greencroft was the best place for me to recuperate from the trauma, as well as, nudging me to work toward my normal daily activities." – Faye Litwiller
For all therapies, we emphasize education and communication with our residents, their families, and the referring physician. That’s why we do two care planning conferences to make sure residents are meeting their goals. Bottom line: We want to get you back on your feet and living life to the fullest.
