Walnut Hills Retirement Community welcomes new director of nursing
Walnut Hills Retirement Community is pleased to announce the appointment of Kirsten Parkhill, RN, as its new director of nursing.
Parkhill brings over seven years of nursing experience, including leadership roles in long-term care as Assistant Director of Nursing and MDS Coordinator. She also has hospital experience in intensive care, cardiac, and oncology units. She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Central Ohio Technical College.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kirsten to the Walnut Hills leadership team,” said Charity Yoder, Vice President of Operations. “Her clinical experience, steady leadership, and deep compassion for residents and team members make her a strong fit for this role and for our mission.”
Parkhill’s approach to nursing is rooted in her faith and belief that caregiving is a calling. She is committed to creating a supportive environment for residents, families, and staff alike.

Walnut Hills Retirement Community, located at 4748 Olde Pump Street in Walnut Creek, Ohio, is a non-profit organization with a local board of directors and is an affiliate of Greencroft Communities of Goshen, Indiana.
