Duties include:

  • Assist the DON in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department
  • Participate in developing, maintaining and updating written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions
  • Make daily rounds of the Nursing Services Department
  • Provide the DON with information relative to the nursing needs of the residents
  • Periodically conduct audits to ensure compliance with established charting guidelines and state/federal regulations.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • LPN or RN Indiana license in good standing
  • Training in geriatric nursing preferred
