    • Develop personalized care plans for each resident based on observation and expertise.
    • When emergency situations happen, you'll act quickly and calmly to initiate life-saving measures. This could happen with or without a physician present, and you have the confidence to act with your residents' wellbeing in mind.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Licensed as Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana & maintain license required
  • Experience in a geriatric setting preferred
  • Experience in a Memory Care/Alzheimer's unit a plus

Schedule:

  • Hourly rate based on experience
  • $1.50 additional per hour for second or third shift.
  • Weekend shift pay: $1.50 additional per hour
  • Weekends and Holidays: Must work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Job Description:

Groundskeeper will maintain the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.

Duties:

Weeding, mowing, watering, trimming, digging, planting, and other duties as assigned.
Responsible for grounds upkeep which shall include but not be limited to mowing of lawn,
fertilizing, trimming and spraying of shrubbery/trees, as well as removal of debris from streets,
sidewalks and lawns.

Communicate with supervisory team members and residents regarding maintenance and work assigned to be done. Interact with other team members to coordinate the use of, maintenance, and repair of grounds equipment, vehicles, and tools to complete assigned grounds maintenance.

Gardening work involving planting, cultivation, pruning, fertilizing and irrigation of flowers, trees, shrubs, hedges, and lawns is expected. Assist in planting of grasses, plants, shrubs and other vegetation; the preparation and treatment of soils; participate in the application of chemicals for the control of pests and plant diseases.

Operate grounds maintenance power equipment including tractor, mowers, trucks, chipper, stump
grinder, forklift, hedge trimmer, edger, sod cutter, sweeper, rototiller, chain saw, hand power tools.
Inspect and verify that equipment is in safe operating condition; maintain grounds areas in and safe,
clean, and orderly condition.

Understand the work methods and procedures to assure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with established policies, regulations, and standards at Hamilton Grove.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Knowledgeable of hand and power tools and equipment used in groundskeeping.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, lawn equipment, telephone, cell phone, radio, computer, and other communication devices.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

  • Launder & fold linens and return to appropriate locations

Gina Martin

Employee Benevolence Fund

Gina Martin believes in paying it forward. She received help when she needed it, and now she helps others whenever she can. Gina began working for Greencroft Goshen five years ago. During her tenure, she experienced some personal problems of her own, including financial hardships. Her manager helped her apply for a gift from the Employee Benevolence Fund. Each campus has its own fund, managed by the Greencroft Communities Foundation, and the process to apply is straightforward. To be eligible, an employee must have worked at their campus at least one year. They must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions or excessive absences. “I was so grateful,” Gina said. “It helped me climb out of a hole.”
