Job Description:

Culinary Services Aide is responsible to provide assistance in all culinary functions as directed or instructed and in accordance with federal and state regulations and standards and the policies and procedures of Golden Years Homestead (GYH) Campus.

Duties Include:

  • Assist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, and on a timely basis.
  • Complete kitchen and dining room cleaning assignments according to the cleaning schedule or as directed.
  • Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc. as directed.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience in skilled care or residential services for the elderly desirable.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent desirable but not required.

Such supervision must be in accordance with federal and state regulations and standards and the policies and procedures of GYH and as required by the Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director, or Community Nurse Leader.

Golden Years Homestead is a Christian-based facility looking for a third shift nurse. The nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants of the Golden Years Homestead (GYH) campus. Such supervision must be in accordance with federal and state regulations and standards and the policies and procedures of GYH and as required by the Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director, or Community Nurse Leader.

Shifts are from 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m., working every other weekend and every other holiday

Competitive wages with shift and weekend differentials.

  • Provide support to Resident Care Specialist/CNAs with resident care and charting.
  • Currently licensed as RN in the state of Indiana.

Job Description:

Provide routine laundry services in the facility.

Duties include:

  • Collect soiled linens from multiple locations (resident rooms, dining rooms, etc)
  • Launder & fold linens and return to appropriate locations
  • Restock locations with laundered linens

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Good written & verbal communication
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds occasionally

Schedule: 

  • 6:30a - 3:00p five days per week (40 hours per week)
  • Every other holiday 
  • Every other weekend

Gina Martin

Employee Benevolence Fund

Gina Martin believes in paying it forward. She received help when she needed it, and now she helps others whenever she can. Gina began working for Greencroft Goshen five years ago. During her tenure, she experienced some personal problems of her own, including financial hardships. Her manager helped her apply for a gift from the Employee Benevolence Fund. Each campus has its own fund, managed by the Greencroft Communities Foundation, and the process to apply is straightforward. To be eligible, an employee must have worked at their campus at least one year. They must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions or excessive absences. “I was so grateful,” Gina said. “It helped me climb out of a hole.”
