“Each of these individuals has offered invaluable guidance and unwavering support to our organization,” said Hugh Davis, President and CEO of Greencroft Communities. “Their collective experience and commitment to our mission have strengthened our communities and helped us continue providing faith-based, resident-centered care across all our campuses.”
In addition to board recognitions, Greencroft presented its annual Innovation Awards and Chair Awards, honoring communities that demonstrated creativity, excellence, and measurable impact over the past year.
Innovation Awards
The Excellence in Innovation Award is Greencroft’s highest honor, celebrating forward-thinking ideas that enhance resident life, team engagement, or operational efficiency. This year’s winners include:
Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village, recognized for a major initiative to reduce reliance on costly agency staffing. By redesigning its hiring, onboarding, and training processes, Oak Grove cut agency hours by nearly 90%, saved more than $528,000 in one year, and improved resident care.
Hamilton Grove, honored for launching the Resident Choice Award, a monthly recognition program where residents nominate outstanding team members. The program has boosted morale, strengthened community connection, and increased team member engagement survey scores.
“These projects show how innovation at the local level can make a lasting difference for residents and team members alike,” Davis said.
Chair Awards
The Chair Award recognizes campuses that meet or exceed Greencroft’s performance benchmarks across five key areas—service, quality, people, finance, and growth. Awards are presented at the gold, silver and bronze levels based on overall achievement. This year’s honorees include:
- Gold Awards: Golden Years Homestead and Great Lakes Christian Homes
- Silver Award: Greencroft Goshen
- Bronze Award: Greencroft Middlebury
“These communities exemplify excellence across the board,” said Davis. “Their achievements reflect the dedication of our teams and the strength of our mission in action.”
