Phyllis Feared Being Alone
Phyllis Christopherson-Beland lived in a cozy Great Lakes Christian Homes Independent Living Villa for nearly 20 years, but last winter she found that she could no longer get out of her house when it snowed. Deciding she did not want to be isolated, she requested to be moved into an Assisted Living Apartment in November, right before the first snow.
Now, she's not concerned about being snowed in. Phyllis can attend mealtime with her friends, participate in campus activities, and no longer worries about being isolated or feeling alone.
