Hamilton Grove 100th Anniversary

The Dream Continues

Haven and Arminia Hubbard had a big dream.

Haven’s greatest desire was to provide housing for the elderly. After he died in 1916, his widow had the courage and vision to fulfill his dream. In 1920, Arminia gifted the family’s 700-acre farm to a church trust, so the property could be used as a building site.

Two years later Epp Hall opened its doors to the first residents of the Haven Hubbard Memorial Old People’s Home.

Today, a century later, Hamilton Grove continues the Hubbard legacy of generosity, service, and loving care for older people.

Please join us as we celebrate 100 years of service and look ahead to what comes next. As we move forward into the 101st year, we are following the Hubbards’ example and dreaming big.
